sung eucharist - SUNDAYS, 10:30AM
This is our regular Sunday service. The service follows the Anglican Church’s A Prayer Book for Australia, and is a traditional service but accessible service. We sing hymns, played by our organist Ralph, and the service starts with a confession, and absolution, followed by Bible readings, a Psalm that we read together, a sermon from the Vicar, prayers and the Creed, Holy Communion and the blessing of the people. Our Vicar celebrates the service, assisted by her sub-deacon and acolyte.
Bible readings are usually taken from the lectionary, and services follow the seasons of the Church Calendar: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Triduum, Easter, Pentecost and Ordinary time. You can also join this service via Zoom.

VESPERS & VINE - 1st sunday of every month, 6pm
On the first Sunday evening of the month, we gather for “vespers”. This is a traditional language service based on the Taize Daily Office, Book of Common Prayer and Sarum Rite. It is more intimate and celebrated at our high altar.
We reflect on Christ as the light in the world that overcomes all darkness, join in ancient call-and-response chants and prayers, like the Magnificat, and partake in lectio divina - a deep, reflective reading of scripture.
After the service, we catch up for refreshments next door at Trinity St Kilda.
